The Athlete’s Playground SPE Classes are designed for young athletes to develop the proper fundamental “building blocks” when it comes to producing stronger athletes without injury. Regardless of the sport, the strongest and most well-conditioned athletes generally excel over their opponents. These classes builds solid base for strength, power, and explosiveness, while constantly improving the body’s endurance. We use age-appropriate training methods, techniques, exercises, and workouts to increase all aspects of strength, while at the same time building physically stability. The SPE classes are a must for not only getting stronger, but at the same time they will reduce the likelihood of injury which means the athlete will be able to handle more time in the game.

          Plyometric Strength Training (Increasing
          Vertical Jump
 
          Core Strength Training: Abdominals, Oblique
          Abdominals and Lower Back
 
          PreHab (Injury Prevention)  Strength Training:
          Strengthening up all major joints (ankles,
          knees, hips, wrists, and shoulders)
 
          Resistance Band and Body Weight Training
          (Proper form and technique for younger and
          inexperienced athletes)
 
          Weight Training (Proper weightlifting form
          and technique for older and more experienced
          athletes)

Relative and Functional Strength Training-Turning muscle gained in the gym to strength and power on the court, field, and/or track
 
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 6:00pm to 7:00pm
 
Combo SAQ and SPE Class on Saturdays:  10:00am to 11:00am
