This youth camp is for both males and females and is designed to help increase vertical jumping power and explosiveness. This camp will focuson proper form and technique when jumping and landing to help minimizethe chances of non-contact injuries and increase athletic performance.

   The introduction to weight lifting camp will teach young athletes between the ages of 12 and 14 the proper way to lifts weights safely using correct form and technique. Each Camp will have a maximum of 8 participants to ensure safety and proper development.

The purpose of The Athlete’s Playground Weight Lifting Camp to help prevent unnecessary injuries in high school weight rooms and prepare young athletes physically and mentally for high school weight lifting. Participants will learn the most commonly used high school weight-lifting exercises to prepare themselves to workout in a team setting or on their own safely and efficiently.
